Eleanor Pascual Wang was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to the United States in1979. With over 25 years of quality and risk management experience she has worked in small and large healthcare settings in acute care, LTAC, rehabilitation and population healthcare systems. She currently serves as the Director of Quality and Risk Management at Nexus Specialty Hospitals in The Woodlands, TX. Previously she served as a Quality Improvement Consultant for Texas Children’s Health Plan (HMO) and prior to that was the Quality Coordinator for CHI St. Luke’s The Woodlands, Lakeside and Springwood Hospitals.

Her areas of expertise include: Health Professionals Legislation/Regulation, Hiring and Performance Management, Staff Management, Training and Development.

She graduated, with a BSN, from St. Luke’s Episcopal/Trinity College of Nursing and continued her graduate studies at Grand Canyon University where she received her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Eleanor is a certified as a legal nurse consultant and LEAN Six Sigma consultant.

Eleanor is a member of the Asian Healthcare Leaders Forum (AHLF) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and its affiliated local chapter, ACHE-SouthEastTexasChapter (ACHE-SETC), Houston, TX.
